Fontyn Sports Media has quickly established itself as a leader in providing hosting and emcee services, commentary and media management solutions to many clients, including in the AFL with the Hawthorn Football Club and North Melbourne Football Club.
Founder, Rick Fontyn, has been involved in broadcasting since 2009, and his passion for sport led he and wife Kate to establish Fontyn Sports Media in 2014. Rick began his broadcasting career in 2009 when hosting a half hour Local Sport show on ABC Radio in Launceston.
After auditioning and landing a role as the weekend sports presenter on Southern Cross Television in 2012, Rick’s career has seen him take on roles with the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia, Targa Australia and the iconic Tasmanian Christmas Carnivals.
